Why should I bother using this Wiki? Good question, here’s some answers:
- It’s a quick way of making notes about UM procedures and tricks (quicker and easier than writing a webpage in HTML)
- It’s a simple way to structure your notes on these subjects.
- You can Search your notes
- Other people can read the notes you made (so that you don’t have to explain the same thing 10 times to 10 different people)
- You can add to, change and update information already contributed to the Wiki by someone else.
- Wiki has version control so that you can always revert to a previous version if you or someone else makes a mistake.
- If you add notes and content - so will other people. You might then find the answer to something that has been driving you up the wall for weeks.
- It’s not limited to geography - If no one on your corridor knows the answer then maybe someone in Leeds does.
